The Gordon County Republican Party, GCRP, is an active and dedictaed group committed to electing capable and conservative candidates to local, state and national office.

Gordon County, Georgia is made up of 356 sq. miles and nearly 53,000 citizens of which over 25,000 are registered voters.  We are proud to say that all of the elected offices in Gordon are held by Republicans - and we are working to keep it that way.  In the last presidential election, 70% of registered citizens voted and 75% of those voted for John McCain.

Gordon County has the added privilege of being one of those counties with two Congressional Districts - the 9th and the 11th.  Interstate 75 nearly equally divides the county and closely demarcates the 9thth in the eastern portion from the 11th District in the western portion.  To better explain the dimensions, in the '08 Congressional races, Congressman Phil Gingrey garnered 71% of 9700 votes and Nathan Deal of the 9th accumulated 75% of 6670 votes.  The 11th also contains the seat of county government and largest city, Calhoun.
