The Gordon County Republican Party, GCRP, is an active and dedicated group committed to electing capable and conservative candidates to local, state and national office.

Gordon County, Georgia is made up of 356 sq. miles and nearly 53,000 citizens of which over 25,000 are registered voters. The seat of county government and largest city is Calhoun We are proud to say that all of the elected offices in Gordon are held by Republicans - and we are working to keep it that way.  In the last presidential election, 70% of registered citizens voted and 75 % of those voted for John McCain.

Gordon County currently has the privilege of having two congressional districts - Interstate 75 nearly equally divides the county and closely demarcates the 9th,  a held byTom Graves and  the 11th held by Phil Gringry. . With the constitutionally required redistricting completed in late 2011, all of Gordon County is centrally located in the newly formed 14th Congressional Dist
